My sister was 14 this time last week, this guy is some sick

then so how can you try to defend female maturity if you're the embodiment of my argument? :p

i mean maturity is so vague. are we talking about relationship maturity? ok yes on average women probably are on average more mature then men simply because of experience. women as a rule have a greater experience in relationships because of reasons i've mentioned before, but that doesn't mean that men are incapable of that same level of maturity at a similar age they are just not given the chance to. are we talking social maturity? well no...perhaps guys do certain things that are deemed immature, but women do things that are also indicative of their maturity they just manifest themselves in different forms.

i definitely have a certain sophistication about myself...in the right setting, around the right people...i have a good head on my shoulders and i'm generally well-rouned, well traveled, etc...so i definitely give off the impression (especially to older people) that i'm way ahead of my time, but really, i'm just a silly child at heart. i like to act goofy and play pranks on people and i generally find immature things to be funny, like the fart machine i bought for my buddy joe. we use it in the office and giggle like a couple of 5 year olds.

in relationships, i have a pretty good idea of how things should be, and even if i act like a brat sometimes to my boyfriend, i'm always aware and i never have a problem apologizing... so i guess that makes me mature enough when it comes to relationships. i've been in a few and i know what love is and i generally have a good idea of what i want in a man.

since when does maturity or whatever an excuse for statutory rape (if it comes to that)?

Well she completely lied about her plans friday night to go and see him, we didnt hear from her for about 18hours. Had the police round etc..

The NEXT day, she misses school and sneaks out to see him.

She met him on the internet..

From what she's said about him he sounds like a complete loser, not at college, sacked from job etc

I'm not a particularly agressive person but

Dude. I would go kick his ass. Hard.

the way i determine someone's maturity level is by observing how they handle situations that call for a mature mindset. there are lots of things that make someone mature - how they respect themselves and other people, whether they learn from their mistakes, how they handle difficult situations in life (whether it be work, money, relationships, etc), how they control their emotions, how they keep priorities in order, etc... maturity to me doesn't mean you have to act sophisticated and independent all the time. you can still be a kid at heart, enjoy doing silly and ridiculous things, but if you're able to handle the that life throws at you in a mature way, then it's all good!

that's a good definition...i agree. but i'm just saying there is nothing that makes women inherently:

-more respectful of people and themselves
-more capable of handling tough situations and learning from them
-better at controlling emotions
-better money managers
-good girlfriends
-harder workers
-better prioritizors

if those are true of some women that is just a credit to them, they are mature women, but opposed to social conceptions these things aren't more often associated with women. women just like the tell themselves that hehehe :p.

i've known female attorneys who are off their ing rockers. i mean complete psycho bitches who still act like a bunch of catty sorority sluts. and they are like in their late 20's early 30's:nervous: you'd think they'd be all mature and wise given that they are extremely educated, but that's all they are...educated in the field of law...but certainly not in the field of life. i work with one. she thinks i'm her best friend and spills her guts to me all the time, but she's ing retarded. she was married to her golfer ex husband for like 10 years and had a kid and everything, and the whole time he was banging escorts and strippers and was the biggest cokehead imaginable...she had no idea.

Some day people will be saying this about Mrs. Hazard too.

I also dated a 19-year-old guy when I was 15. Most of our dates were just us in his bedroom playing his Pokemon Red game. "Pokemon Red" was what he called his penis at the time. The "Pokemon Red Game" consisted of me lying on the floor playing Pokemon Blue on his gameboy while he sodomized me. Oh the irony. The cruel cruel irony of it all.
