are u daft, reaed hazards psot and mine in previous pages, religion is just a belief. bad things come of it, but lots of good things as well. eradicating religion would be the dumbest thing anyone could do. |

it has its uses now. if your worried about wars and fights started over religion, trust me there are bettert things to get rid of other than religion that would help solve those problems. |

no, you should believe whatever you want to believe. i'm not sure what rubbish you're talking about, because all i said here is that this religion's rapid growth concerns me for their fanatism (which is imprinted, because they are brought up like this) and them being more prone to different brainwashing (once again, because of fanatism).
i have posted the pics just because i was quite simply astounded by them, by the look in people's faces, by numbers and by unanimity.
this thread was hijacked by kids in pink eyeglasses, who will jump on anyone who says anything about anyone, just because they still are not grown up enough to understand that "all people are born equal" is unrealistic (but beautiful) bull, and that this certain religion nowadays -at least a sizeable part of it - is very aggressive.

of course. but the problems start when different religions clash. with rapid expansion of islam, this becomes more and more of a reality, and with such fanatic followers, the outcome is quite predictable: the islam will take over the world. it has already quite incapacitated most of Europe, who are too "politically correct" to give a boot to all that crap. |

Good things? What good things? What things would be better to get rid of than religion to help stop wars and fights? |

Lol, I love your confidence in your own intelligence and reason. but I guess it sucks for you cause really, you fail to look at others perspectives and are really caught up in your own.
its time to admit you can be wrong.
its time you realise there are normal people with other beliefs.

:) i'm not caught up, i can admit when i'm wrong, and i have done so many times before. but you are not understanding what i'm saying and i don't think i'm wrong in what i'm saying
here's the synopsis of "what i'm saying" one more time: of course, there are good people and bad people among different religions. of course, if you're islamic doesn't mean that you're a terrorist or a fanatic - just like your female friend is completely sociable and such.
but this picture astonished me - just because of their unanimity. all are one. most of them - not all, but most - are fanatics, whose life is built around the religion - it is how the culture is in those countries, which are in fact almost theocratic, with shariat laws and such, with women being deprived of almost any rights, with uncivilized and ultraconservative laws, which maybe applied fine to the 15th century, but not to the 21st, in my opinion. fanatics of any religion are bad - be it christianity or scientology. but today, in this world, fanatics of islam are at the forefront of terrorism. globally - be it blasts in bali or in iraq. and coupled with the fact that it is the fastest growing religion, this becomes a worrisome issue for me.

hhmmm, I guess I don't feel right making a value judgement on another culture based off my culture. Yea women don't have to cover their skin here, but they always have there and they feel its right, I don't think we have any position to say thats wrong. The only thing that is telling you that it is wrong is the fact that you grew up in a place that said women can show skin.
and I totally disagree with the connection between islam and terrorism. Yes, some terrorist are islamic, but no, islamics are not terrorists.
dont' fear the unknown, I always suggest reading the koran, most people have no idea wtf it is about. |
