I dont recall there ever being a thread like this before.
I'm a Merchandise Planner @ Moores Clothing for Men during the week.
I'm a Promoter @ Sonic (270 Spadina) on the weekends.
I love both of my jobs. But my day job (before my current one), at times, made me want to put a gun to my head. I was a Manager @ a Moores store in Burlington.
i enjoyed my retail experience, but five years was TOO much. |

I am sure a lot of you already know what I do...but if you don't....I'm and insurance adjuster....yeah yeah yeah....big bad insurance companies.....I don't disagree....but remember....I'm the one who requests the cheques.....so be nice to me....if not...then I will show you how big and bad the insurance company can be :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip: :whip:
Actually, I really enjoy my job...no day is the same and you have to always be thinking.....and reality is.....I get to help a lot of people during a period of time when they have sufferred a traumatic event. To see the joy on someones face when you hand them a $75,000.00 cheque is priceless. |

i pretty much hate it - work with boring people, in a boring place, and the job is entirely unrewarding - and with little prospect of exciting change.

Mortgage Specialist (sales) for a division of CIBC (PCF)
I enjoy it (most of the time).
great staff, commission is quite good, 10 min. walk from home here downtown, bus. casual environment, no micromanagement (come and go as I please)...eventually would like to be an independent broker though and work 100% for myself.

I'm studying and training to get my CPGA professional golfers license. In Canada to get your Pro license you need to have a business degree and I went to school for broadcasting. So here I am, working at my full time advertising sales job and going to school full time.
Keeps me busy but I love it that way.
And on the weekends I get paid to play the music I love. BEST JOB EVER! |
