Yeah, and it's gonna make me puke, lol. :D

I love trance, it makes me more emotional than any other genre, and I love dancing to good trance, but I don't feel defensive about it. Other genres are cool too, and I' still exploring. In fact, nowadays I have more fun DANCING to prog house\trance and deep house, which is exactly what I did Friday night at System and Saturday night at a private party.

The point is, just cuz this site is called "trance" addict doesn't mean we should feel ashamed of loving other genres! In fact, I bet many or most people on the site do love various genres. So I've got no problem if some women like house better; anything to keep them away from hip hop, rap, crap, etc. :D

When did bling-hop and materialistic r&b become so damn popular. Damn rappers and singers got no skills anymore, they follow a simple formula to make their crap (some call it music):

- every second word (nigga, bitch, hoe, etc)
- judge ones worth strictly by the number of diamonds adorning the persona at any given moment
- list off a slew of very expensive automobiles preferably something an old fart would drive (Bentley, Mercedes, Rolls, Lexus)...idiots are too dumb to even know driving is about driving a fahkin fun car -> Audi, BMW, etc.
- copy beats from a song produced 10 years ago and profit from someone elses artistic talent
- rap or sing about how you gotta do what ya gotta do to make money including killing people, stealing etc.

RAP SUX ARSE! It has died... now all that remains is bling bling this and bling bling that, I had to kick him/her to the curb cause he/she broke,...

POS

Haha!! A women after my own heart! :)
Well said...but don't forget that there's always a soft singing/good looking women to offset the fact that they rapper can't SING...

Personally my passion for the music started with HOUSE then evolved into TRANCE.. and PROGESSIVE. It's all about what mood you're in.. and I believe they both are a part of my soul... and I'm no ugly duckling.

well said.....

I find that it's so hard to draw a line, between the different genres.......there are so many tracks that don't fit in any........I'm at the point now where I just say; I like this one.....and try not to think too much about labels.

peace

There is always a hot lady beside these so called thugs, rappers etc. but they got too much silicone and they sing softly and in a nice voice...but listen to what they are singing about. They are singing about how they don't need no man to provide diamonds for them, pay their rent, buy their BMWs and Mercedes. Its just the same ...I am just pissed at this music because it is si far reaching and is just a plague to society. Younger kids are too dumb to realize that it isn't reality. There is nothing wrong with working a 9-5 job. There is nothing wrong with sweating hard and buying what you like as a reward. It just bothers me that its all "look at me I am the I drive a 7 series Bimmer something an old wealthy doctor or CEO would drive, I am the ! I don't work no job thats for suckas. I sell caine on the corner and pimp bitches and bust caps in you bitch thugs" These retards make their money rhyming off ! And these dumb kids look at these thugs as role models, Bling Bling man would pop a cap in yo ass, maybe I should do it too. I wanna drive a Benz at the age of 16, since I am too lazy to work I should go steal the one in the parking lot from that older dude...he don't deserve a car like that. Fahking hip-hop culture is fahked up. Sorry just venting...oops I forgot its a ladies in Ont post. Hey girls!

Whats up guys Infinity,Blue Neon, Dj ElKayDee

well
to some extent you have a point, but unfortunately your statement, is a little too broad.......there are many rappers spreading a positive message. There are many that know how far their influence goes, and although they still have the same materialistic elements in the videos....have a cleaner message....Also, there are many rappers who make fun of the whole rap 'mold'. I agree with you in the sense that it teaches instant gratification......etc.......but if we get deeper, whatabout all the corporations that have made money legally (seemingly)...but effected so much collateral damage on larger amounts of people in other countries? Capitalism is legal right?

Whatabout all the ones who have money simply because their parents had it...?

It's very difficult to say for certain who the real bad guys are.

Alot of rappers do use their influence to tell kids to read, and stay in school....so......

I dunno; I can't say that all rap is bad. And we do unfortunately live in a highly material world.........and even the rappers who are inspiring gangs and crime; are simply a manifestation of something we've all had a hand in........like it or not.

peace

That is true if you really dig around for those "stay in school" artists but realisticly its all the bling-bling ghetto children that sell records. For example bubba sparks, lol:p , just thinking of his fat, white trash, assembly line rappin ass makes me laugh. I yousta be into hip hop when it was good ie. 5-10yrs ago. But now almost all of it eithier makes me laugh or pissed off! :toothless , :whip:

btw, Name some of those artists that you are talking about that aren't bling bling and preech the good word, so to speak.
DJ El Kay Dee
hey..although this is kinda off topic, I'd just like to say that only the "bling bling" rap sells cos the "thugs" dont want to hear about the real world. they want to elevate themselves to a materialistic dreamland.....if them rap tunes dont have sex, drugs, cash or killing mentioned they dont sell...

personally..i listen to everything..from electronica to rock, to country too...but i dont go for lyrics as much as the music...i look for how well the tune is composed...if it isnt composed well, i look for the lyrics..how well they were inspired....however...trance, u find the most artistic single man production of music integrating the present and the future of technology...electronica is not only in the form of what we think but can be found clearly in rap and pop as well....

peace

:D
PS...as mentioned earlier..i am a guitarist in a band...

lol, honestly, as i remembered from the list, female TAs aren't rare at all.. i'm pretty sure if you made a male TA list for t.o. it would only go up to like 30-40 i think.. the female list had like 20 or something..

DJ El Kay Dee
