"Toronto big on Trance? not really, you have to remember Sothis that this is a Trance board. So lots of people here are very biased. You'll hardly ever hear anyone here talk about Jungle on this board, instead you'll always hear TA's here bitchin' and moaning about not enough Trance being played in Toronto. There's a reason why the majority of clubs here play progressive/house.
Oh, and what am I basing this on? Well in the last couple of years, everytime I'm at a major party/rave , the Jungle/dnb room is always packed while the Trance rooms are always nearly empty all through the night. There's just so much more energy everywhere else. Sorry to say it TA's but Trance is the least popular form of electronica here in Toronto at least, I'm just speaking the truth. "
I agree...Toronto has no trance representation (although it is picking up)...thats why the whole Guvernment was packed to the rafters because nobody can go and get their fix anywhere else...haha. Its true...house reigns supreme in Toronto... |

When did bling-hop and materialistic r&b become so damn popular. Damn rappers and singers got no skills anymore, they follow a simple formula to make their crap (some call it music):
- every second word (nigga, bitch, hoe, etc)
- judge ones worth strictly by the number of diamonds adorning the persona at any given moment
- list off a slew of very expensive automobiles preferably something an old fart would drive (Bentley, Mercedes, Rolls, Lexus)...idiots are too dumb to even know driving is about driving a fahkin fun car -> Audi, BMW, etc.
- copy beats from a song produced 10 years ago and profit from someone elses artistic talent
- rap or sing about how you gotta do what ya gotta do to make money including killing people, stealing etc.

Or "rice rockets"...lots o'rappers seem to like those too...and they like "sing" about how many hoe's they're bangin. Seriously, I don't understand how people like rap...I mean, if they listen to rap that means something, then ok, but not that comes out now...ugh, it sucks. Its not even catchy! Its got a crap beat!! At best I can say now by appologizing, that perhaps something was achieved in-terms of creating some friction....which is now sortof resolved.

I am retracting into the darkness of the same lack of thought; from whence my original statement came.
This is a place where one states things based on words, easily misinterpreted since they are without voice, and feel.
And yet deep down, while i chew on the bone in the doghouse.....
I know deep down, that sometimes saying something really dumb and full of false pride,
can bring out the best in others.
