You're right Bizz... I like making Trends...I hate following them. I remember people telling me that TRANCE sucked..anf that it wouldn't go anywhere...now 7 yrs later...they're the one's asking for me to make them tapes...cd's and what not. FAGS"
Oh yeah..keeping on topic.. I hate blondes with black roots. :whip: but agree with the streaks... I like funky streaks too...like pink, blue, red streaks.. Hey!! y not?? |

| As was mentioned in an other thread, girls don't hang around these forums cuz most of the girls are NOT geeks, unlike most of the guys that are into Net, computers and stuff alike. And even if they were into this, TA.com looks kinda underground, and not many of those geeky girls are into trance anyway... so we're left with the very small percentage of a female population that is actually visiting these forums (and are into trance/house)... now what percentage of that number of girls are actually cute and good looking, I do not know. |

The number of girls that are into the Net is ridiculously high in my opinion, quite possibly outnumbering the guys (does that make them geeks too?).. I mentioned before, guys are more obsessive -- guys like upgrading their computer, playing games, using forums like these, and all that sort of .. the majority of females only know (and only want to know) how to use a computer just to chat and use e-mail, and wouldn't even want to bother finding forums like this one.

ok so i know im not from toronto (or canada for that matter.. tho im close to bc!) but i was in this forum checking up on my thread i started and looked at this one so i have to respond :p

you do realize how utterly ridiculous this sounds, right? i hope so.
thats like saying all guys like country music instead of rock because *insert thing here*. this is your opinion, and not a fact. girls dont like certain music just because its "sexy".. most women actually do have more brains than that and do enjoy listening to music because its music, and they like it. i like black metal. i dare you to tell me thats sexy or woman-like in any way :p

a few months ago built an amd 1.4 ghz system with 512 mb of ddr, a new cdrw, 80 gig 7200 rpm hard drive, etc. (of course its all out of date now tho 3 months later, argh). i plan on upgrading it when i get more money again and new technology comes out (maybe getting a dual athlon this time). my sister programs for nokia down in california, if you walk in to her apartment you will see about 8 computers at a time gutted and sitting on the floor, waiting to be built. she just built me an old 486 so i can play old dos games.
ive been playing computer rpgs since ultima 2 on the atari (im a hardcore ultima nerd, till 8 which then started to suck), console rpgs since dragon warrior one on the nes when i was what, 8 or 9, when nes came out. i can still talk anyone under the table about them :p

gahhh this statement was painful to read and another extremely terrible stereotype. out of all of my friends, acquaintances, etc.. the only people i know who are COMPLETELY and totally computer illiterate, and are fine being that way, are guys. id say a good 40% the people in my computer science major are girls. as well as any classes on internet/web development. when i worked at microsoft, the number of guys and girls (im talking software development here, not office jobs) were about even. girl and guy programmers alike.
this was long, sorry. heh. i just dont like reading stereotypes like this :/ |

I study at Waterloo - best Canadian school for computer science. Do you know how many girls we have here? Close to NONE !
If there are 10 girls in a class of 150, I consider it a class full of girls.
What you are talking about are exceptions.
As I said before, different cultures have different musical backgrounds. People from europe(guys, girls whatever) like trance more than people from north-america |

hm sothis you didn't really understand on what i meant...the only person that understood of wat i said is DJStylez..read his quote than make a comment :) yes women do have brains to enjoy listening musik, but my reply wasn't based on that :eyes: i replied why house musik is more enjoyable in clubs or watever by women, and i didn't mean all the women in the world :toothless lol |
