I think most of the girls that you see at clubs that play EDM are attached, as is the case with me and the people I go with.
There are alot of stigma's that I find that are attached to the EDM scene in general (ex. lots of irresponsible drug use, "filty" people). This prevents alot of single girls from going, simply because they have a negative/uninformed perspective of the scene. But if the people who are familiar with the EDM scene/music would expose more newbies to it, you'd see alot more new people and a better ratio of males to females at any given party.
So bring some friends...spread the word. The scene we enjoy would be enjoyed as well by people who go to the mainstream clubs only because they think they don't have any other options. They simply need an invite. It only takes one party to make a convert! |
