hey, I remember this thread from ages ago!

I met two girls yesterday that are really into psy trance. I didn't realize that there was such an underground psy trance scene in TO.

... there are for sure girls like myself that love trance. (We do exist. ;))
I myself am into pretty much any genre anyway, whether it be trance, house and techno, or latin, reggae and breaks... the list goes on.
I know most of my girl friends are more into main stream stuff within pop, hip hop, R&B, etc. But, I do find it all too true that guys seem to be much more into it than girls. A good deal of my guy friends are into electronic music in general, but hardly any of my girl friends are, unfortunately. However, like a couple of others I know, I'm still working on converting the non-believers... :D

Tell me about it. Some people hear 'different/non-mainstream' music and think "WTF is this?!?! Turn it off!" Those poor souls have yet to be bitten by the bug... ;)

Converting non-believers and people who hate dance is the most fun :D. I've converted hardcore thugs into trancers lol and rock-ons into trancers it really is quite fun lol. I love the people who think that trance is just Sandstorm and Ian Van Dahl and they hate dance and then I give them a listen and I hear "hey this isn't so bad" and the next thing I know I have to make a CD of it for them.

lol, Too true! There's so much more than that, and that's what we've got to show them. It's fun guiding them 'til they 'see the light':eyes: ... :D

People still never believe me that I had Sandstorm like over a year before it came out on the radio lol. I also find it funny how some peoplewould say that Sandstorm sucked when I listened to it but when it came out on the radio a year later they all jumped on the bandwagon mighty quick.

First of all whose Idea was it to restart a thread that got started b4 I even joined up??? lol

It has always been like that with music. Stuff that came out in Europe (from my experience, but I know that it was like that in the rest of the world) never came here until a year later. Oh and it is not just like that with music Everywhere else in the world except for north America we have to have the tiest cell phones ever. the models that here are "new" are over 2-3 years old in the rest of the world. Why are they so slow over here. But then again. In Germany u only got lo-speed DSL and t1 that costs huuuge Euros.
