an original in good condition is pricey...but there are tons of represses of it for really cheap.
it all depends on if you are buying it for the track, or for the collection.
i have 3 different copies including the original:)
the beatport digital track for sale is an obvious rip as it drifts all over the place:p
I'm more of a collector but having the track in its highest possible quality is usually a must as well. Do you think the represses are remastered and better quality?

all of the copies i have sound fine, some of the represses have additional remixes and edits. The original one I have is a little worn, but it has more to do with wear and tear than how it was pressed.
the best thing you can do is find the copy you are purchasing and do a little research on it. You can also start a thread in the discogs forums and someone will surely help out.
there are ty bootleg copies of almost any old classic...a good thing to look out for can be price. Anything that looks really cheap, is usually that way for a reason. Expensive copies can sometimes sound like ass too..the pricing usually reflects the rarity of the press in circulation and not always the quality.
you could also try checking a record store in town...this is a huge track and you never know...there might be a copy lying around somewhere. At least at a record store you can pre listen and judge for yourself.
