Really? I love the kick in the track.. It's a flat minimal-ish type kick that still thumps, but isn't over the top with the bass.

Anyways, I really wish there was more prog like this.

I dunno, maybe pitched up it would sound right. But yes, I agree, more prog like this would be nice. There are a few labels still doing it, but not many.

Some recent finds:

Awesome post! Guy J and Henry Saiz are by far the hottest prog house producers at the moment, I've bought whatever they've released for the past two years. Have you heard Guy J's remix of 'They came from the light'? It's also fantastic..

Anyways I'm adding all these tracks to the crate. Been looking for some new dark sounding prog tracks for my next mix.

Yea but tbh not his best work. His remixes of Jori Hulkkonen, Way Out West and the one I posted are all recent and better, IMO.

A few more you might like:

Thanks again! That Quivver release is fantastic, all 3 tracks.

check out this amazing live set from Butane.

I'm a huge fan of Marco Carola's druggy minimal tech house sound but this guys is really something too. Can't get enough of this set. It may be one of the best sets I've ever heard. Enjoy!
