So i had to run out and buy The Zoo Brazil Needs You CD that came out last month today. It is so damn good.Highly recomended if you need dark electro acidy style beats that deviate from the norm for your collection.

This and Orchestra of Bubbles will be dominating the top spots in my cd rack for a while i think.

Also was looking through some old cd's today and came across some older techno whos style is almost extinct. You know, the Latin style stuff kinda like Preach's No War In Summer.(that song made me lose my mind when it came out, such a dancefloor murderer:tongue3 )

Older, but check them out if you need a dose of hip shakin boom boom techy cha cha funk.;)

End JY-Cuba Import
End JY-Tango (Filterheads remix)
Oliver Giacomotto & Alex Marqz-Technorumba
Frank Biazzi-Metamorph
Pedro Delgardo-Tango (Stanny Fransen remix)
Pedro delgardo-Jam (Hertz and Johan Bacto remix)
ok and just cuz i feel like it
Preach-Oxygen(Eric Sneo's Beat disater remix):eyespop:

and to get ready for next week,
Sven Dedek and Alex Bau....REAL PARTYSLUTS:eyespop: (like me:tongue3 )

do i seem in a techno mood? i cant funken wait!

also a really wicked track i know Marco G plays called Princessita, I think the artist is sky scraper but not sure.Might be too latin, but if you like that kind of beat def check it out.

Right now I'm really digging Steve Porter's WMC '06 set (at least I think it's his WMC set, part of Schulz WMC edition of GDJB)

Tracks in particular:

Boriqua Bandits - Midnight Expresso
Marnix & Mustafa - Time 2 Get Funky

Also:
Matt Rowan & Jaytech - Tomorrow, and
James Holden - A Break in the Clouds (The Lamb Chops Whaddayamean It's Supa Tigga Rigga Wigga Mix) Good god that's a long one. :eyes:

Im definately loving these type of olf skool beats, I been listening to only techno all weekend <----- thats a first in like a year and a half. Maybe a new trend :eyespop:

old school?\

Umek & valentino kanzyani-tuna:p

hard and driving percussion is in hybernation mode right now, but ive definatly seen some new releases coming out that have the possibility to change this.Minimal is blowing up big time, although i think there might just be enough purists to bring back the older school bang bang style one day:D

Nice! I know Guillaume, the guy behind that release (I think he goes by Josh Love though). :)

some killer releases in the next few weeks:

Hardcell - Drumcode 29

the new Pratap on Sway 18(sooo good!!)

Skipper
Really really liking Sebastien Leger's new release on Intec...surprisingly. Bad clock is a huuuuuge tune.

The second cut doesn't have the same kind of build up but it dark and quirky techno. Bleeps and synthy stabs throughout...yum.

This thread is great! I am more in love with music than I ever have been before, I think.

Im definately gonna do a set of techno for each set of proggyelectrohouse I do when I start dj'ing. Honestly I would enjoy doing techno more in a afterhour/rave if I had the chance. I find it brings the most energetic vibe. I been gone from techno for so long.... what names should I be looking out for? same as usual? any new peeps on the scene? I been gone a a good year.
