| I am on the Porgtugal bandwagon too now. I didn't want either Italy or Germany (I don't need to see the host country go all the way!), Portugal is by far the underdog of the remaining teams and has never won it all...so I'd like to see that. Also I'm backing the remaining country with the hottest women ;) |

I'm totally against Portugal. They knocked out England :(. Many of their players are divers and cheats, and play for Chelsea (one of my favourite teams :rolleyes: ). And before anyone starts, yes I'm aware and ashamed of what Thierry Henry did earlier in the tournament. Zidane is a legend and part of the reason I started watching football in the first place.

Portugal's dives got disgusting near the end of the match as they were just looking for a PK, anytime a French player got within two feet of a Portugese player the Portugese player would just drop. Everyone that I have spoken to about the match is equally disappointed with Portugal's dives.
I must tip my hat to Christiano Ronaldo because he played one hell of a game (except for the dives). I think that he and Torres (Spain) are going to be the next big football stars. |
