yeah,i'm not convinced by spain either, but being a liverpool fan i'll defo be supporting them.
england were crap against paraguay but got the 3 points.

:D i'm sorry but i can't help but have a huge grin on my face after this 3-0 result. the US had been banging on for weeks about how they get no respect. well respect is earned. they hadn't done anything on the international stage and they still haven't. the czechs were a different class. nedved and rosicky gave the US a footballing lesson.

Ghana - Italy is INTENSE. You can definitely see the difference in skill v the US game that was just on. |

I'm pretty sure the team is taking it seriously seeing as how a good chunk of the team belongs to football clubs outside the US :p The Czech's aren't a horrible team, USA wasn't even favored this match. Hopefully we'll shape up and defeat Italy. |

Good match. Early-on Ghana was holding their own but you could definitely see the fatigue and frustration on their faces as the match went on. I don't know if they were quite prepared for the WC, at least not with an opener v Italy. That's gotta be harsh.
That goal by Iaquinta was beautiful. I mean, easy pickings but the timing was there. Way to go to and finish! |
