Haha. Agreed. I'm really looking forward to the match with Argentina. I think I play that match weekly in Winning Eleven ;) . You watching the Japan - Aus game? Japan is playing pretty clean! |

in hell. we had our chances but didn't take them. fair play to the aussies. i was very happy this morning when i found out cahil was not starting, and now everyone can see why. he's a tenacious ( dirting cheating whinging little who plays for everton) player and he made the difference. he could have easily been sent off for that tackle which should have resulted in a peno for japan. like i said, fair play to them. they deserved it. |

The ref was making some pretty controversial calls. Definitely should have been a penalty kick. Japan was playing very well for most of the game, but seemed at the end that they lost heart after the first goal for Aus.
They did deserve it, though. And they're gonna need those 3 points with the Brazil game coming up :eek: |

i don't think there are many ppl in the world who think australia will get anything out of the brazil match so the croatia match will be massive and the decider. japan has essentially been eliminated. they won't get anything from the brazil match and even if they beat croatia, which is extremely unlikely, 3 points will not be enough.
i'm also supporting england and spain. maybe they'll get out of their groups unlike japan. |

Oh of course v Brazil there's no chance. I expect Croatia will surprise us, though.
I think there's a pretty safe bet with England. Spain on the other hand ... their performance in qualifying was only OK. I have a bad feeling about them.
BTW, goal Czech Republic...
