yes it is. we seem to completely forget which side is currently living IN THE DEEP END OF and which side's economy is prosperous.
1 kidnapped soldier vs. a load of people constantly harassed and abused on a daily basis.

Markess, check the history books.Israel is on land that was Palestinian before the UN decided to take it.I'm not saying Palestinians are right, but in many ways they are treated the same way jews were during WW2(no , not genocide, but being singled out and controlled).There will never be a solution to this conflict because both sides refuse to negotiate.If you lost your land you would fight too;)
My only beef with israel is that they are probably the most pig headed,non negociating country in the world when it comes to foreign policy.As much as people make it out to be Jew vs Muslim, it is a conflict about land not religion. |

the PIG HEADED country is the one who REFUSES to move on and accept that their land is no longer their land...
When was Israel given Israel? How many tens of years ago?
If Palastine wants to fight the ruling... why not do it diplomatically through NON VIOLENT ways... associating themselves to suicide attacks and killing Israeli settlers is NOT the way to go about that... |

my history sucks but i think it was in 1948 that israel was formed.
How long have the turks and greeks been fighting my friend.

what sickens me is the fact that it's totally ok to kill palestinians by tons for "security" reasons.

Killing anyone, anywhere is unacceptable. However, I think both sides are to blame here. Israel is power hungry and pushing around the smaller kid in the school yard. Palastine is equally fed up and has to resort to terrorist methods.
Both sides are to blame. I just think it's time someone stops the vicious circle. :( |

This conflict is sick; but I guess it is a reflection of a bigger one...
Israel is backed by a lot of Western countries; atrocities committed by Israel aren’t publicized and condemned as much as Palestinian ones (at least on the official level). And of course Palestine has very little space for manoeuvres. Last elections are a clear example. Democracy is ok only when a pro-western / pro-Israeli gov. is elected what is absurd. Democracy means people's choice not Washington’s...
Btw, both sides aren’t angels; as always common people suffer the most. Nonetheless, conflicts are created and artificially maintained in order to make money … |
