Israel responds by destroying bridges, roads, tv station and killing 40 CIVILIANS!!!
Not to mention the 60 civilians they`ve killed this week in Palestine. This is turning into a goddam massacre. |
Did anyone in the West condemn Israel for that? |

There was just a very interesting interview right now on CBC with a Lebanese representative and huma rights activist...to my complete amazement he agreed with Israel's actions, claimed that Israel has no choise but to do what they are doing, and placed the blame completely on Syria and the Terrorist organizations operating in Lebanon, which do not give Lebanon the opportunity to rule and govern itself as it should.
He called on the international community to continue with the resolution which was implemented but never fully carried out (getting Syria and the terrorist groups out of Lebanon)...
When asked if this is now a war between two countires, he said absolutely not, and that the Lebanese people are suffering from the militia and the terrorist organizations that are operating within...
Hmmm... |

The terrorists attacks on the World Trade center were not home grown terror cells .... Al Quaeda masterminds. |
Those masterminds need money to operate ...Where do they get it from!? How do you think? |

why is it surprising that some people have had enough of integrists and terrorists and their scare tactics, corrupt governments...
people just want to get on with their lives, live in prosperity and peace. |

Well I was surprised cause I was expecting to hear this big speach about Israel's violations of international law and I was totally astonished by what he said - just very unexpected.
I'm actually quite worried and frustrated about the stuff that's going on there now... |

I dont know if this has been mentioned yet, but I just watched the movie Munich last night. Its a good movie imo, but probably not the same in others based on where they stand with the whole issue.
Either way, good insight, worth watching... |

There are reports that the kidnapped soldiers might be taken to Iran if not already there...it's all rumours but that's why the airport was bombarded and there is a naval blockade - not to allow the militants to move the kidnapped out.
Regardless of the fact this is going out of control fast...the airport was just bombarded again from ships |

Someone's gonna have to knock some sense into Israel, they're going to have another Palestine on their hands if they continue this heinous nonsense in Lebanon. |
tell me with all these comments you make how much do you actually know about middle eastern politics. continue heinious non sense in lebanon please ... israel withdrew from there in 2000 not one square inch is buffer zone. how does hizballah react from the withdrawal they kidnap two officers in 2001 and now 2006. Israel is no longer facing terrorism, hizbalah is a active member of the Lebenese goverment so therefore this is a unprovoked act of war to which
Israel has all rights to defend itself against. In the mean while hizbalah getting there millitia money from tehran, that way the media can avoid the fact that Iran still refuses to follow any type of protocol regarding the nuclear facilities that there building.
this is a totally unprovoked attack and sadly hizbalah has to screw it up for the rest of lebanon which does not necesarilly reflect the same opinion as hizballah.
you say Israel is to hardline a goverment so tell me what you would do if you were in their situation.. sending angry emails wont work. Its not as if Hamas , Hezballah , the assad and ahmedjinian regimes care about international reputation. |
