anybody know if the Yankee-Tigers game is a go for tonight? I have to type up a critique for my graduate seminar course tomorrow, which I was planning on doing after the game. But it's playoff baseball and I can't concentrate if there's a game to be watched...
and by the way, my picks have ended up way off the mark. Damn Twins! I have a feeling i'm going to finish last. |

Hmmmm ... its tough because Twinkies are down 2-0 and the obvious choice would be to go with Athletics ... if it was tied 1-1, then it would be a different story.
This will have to be debated with all pool participants, but I think you can send me your picks to join the pool, however you will not get any Athletics points - you cant choose them anymore because its obvious they're in big advantage ;-(. And you wont get any points for the first two days. Verndogs, what do you think?
This way there's more people involved in the pool, last year there were 11 participants and it was fun!
If a team only wins the first game, its not very compromising, but once a team wins a second game, its no longer fair ...
I'll do the updates in the morning, including the new addition kyd nice's picks ... right now its sleep time |

I had tickets to the yankees game last night....total douche bags let me tell ya. paul oneil comes out to throw the first pitch and then they run out and pull the tarp on. lol wtf. so i sat there with the bleacher creatures for an hour and a half (9:30ish) when the rain stopped. They came out pulled the tarp off, bleachers filled up again REAL QUICK, after they finished grooming the field, we was waiting for them to come out. freaking field crew comes back out and pulls the tarp onto the field again....so around 10 i bounce out and thats when i get the call from my parents saying ESPN officially announced it cancelled till tomorrow at 1.
Then my boss text's me and says how does it feel to sit in the rain LOL. Said I can take a half day today to go to the game, but my friend who went with me can't go so I have an extra ticket to the game! LOL - hopefully my pops will go |

I was actually at the game yesterday...this was the reaction from the stands
"YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! (kent is out)....whaaaaaaaaaaaaaa (Drew is running home)..........YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! (drew is out) |

LOL ... I saw the highlight on MLB like 10 times already, and I am still chuckling a bit. One of the funniest MLB moments ever. Priceless! Dodgers deserved to lose for that stupidity, and they ultimately fell by 2 tunes that would have in the end gave them the win. :D
I guess you really enjoyed the game. Cant forget a moment like that, it never happened in MLB playoffs before! |
