horrible day for AROD 0-4 3 k's especially his last at bat with Zumaya he got played with some of the nastiest stuff Ive seen in a while which included a 101 change up
great job finding the vid of that double play I talked about earlier magnet. |

my selections in the American League im guessing are the other way around.
A's over Twins 3-0
Yanks over Tigers 3-1 in that retrospect |

Mets win Game 2 over Dodgers, 4-1, take a 2-0 series lead
They are 6-0 in NLDS games at Shea, going back to 1999
SoCal not being represented too well.
It would be something if both of the two NL West teams fail to win a single playoff game, especially after being as hot as they were to end the regular season. At least there's the A's for the folks out in Cali. |

I love Arod and he was the nicest guy when i met him at Yankee Stadium tours last August (2005). But the guy just caves in to pressure too much. I can't say I blame him because I think I'm the same type of person under pressure...i mean , i 4 putted the green at my club championship in front of TEN PEOPLE....this guy must almost be sick from the pressure.
But he has to go if we dont' get it done.

I agree but at the same time, I understand that ARod might be one of those guys who lacks that edge. It's not his fault...it's just the way he is. In any event, the guy gets way too much flak in New York. If the Yankeees can't get it done, then sure, trade him but there's not much point in hating the guy and dissecting every at bat.
I still say Yanks in 4. Gotta salvage something out of my horrible picks. |

Yes, I noticed ;-) I havent really added you to the pool, I thought you were quoting someone else with those picks. When you submitted those Page 2 picks, Twins were only down 1-0 in the series, right? |

well, you just can't win in the playoffs with offense can you?
Arod is just awful. That was a horrible call at 3rd base but it doesn't matter anyway since the yankees' bats are deader than .
