i have been kidnapped, beaten and dragged into top 40 clubs sevral times and they do play house (mostly commercial cheesy house) but the crowd doesnt react to it at all... most of the people jus stand there, and when the hiphop comes on they dance

Because with hip hop they are suppossed to grind da biatcheZ. When house goes on they go back to the bar and cry cause they ended up grinding their vagino buddy instead.

Considering you're in a top-40 club filled with gangsta guys looking to grind with girls, they're probably thinking "Who let the gay guy in here?"

i dont think TiL could touch the vibe system had either to be honest....

half of the crowd at TiL on fridays are there to get plastered and could give two s about the music.

probably that 2, i jus dont understand wat the point is to play house in mainstream top 40 clubs since the crowd only reacts to hiphop type crap anyway...

I went to Republik this summer and they played "commercial" house music which IMO was not too cheesy...

But yes...some people at those places just look at you when you can actually dance to house instead of just standing there like a n00b...

Despite Sander's "new-found" popularity...and the crowd it's going to attract (good or bad)....

I'm going to be front and centre @ TiL, Nov. 3

it's because they actually do like to listen to house, the just dont admit it when applying their 'mack on' to da ho's.... it makes them look 'weak'.
