I really really doubt my favourite DJ would ever be featured on Z103; but for arguments sake lets say Z103 had a Live-to-Air with Lee Burridge or Demi or Farina...
Ya I'd still go see them.
But a lot of it would depend on what they're playing too. Seeing as how Sander's sound is the obvious, hard, electro-house sound that's been the trend for the last year or 2, and that's the type of house that I won't even acknowledge nowadays; if any of them were to play that then I'd probably pass. |

im not 2 upset about sander gettin alot of z1035 attention cuz i am not a big fan of his... i did like this is not miami a year ago tho but who hasnt.
on the other hand if some artists that i realy like became hip by z1035 standards then i would have a realy hard time trying to decide whether i wanna see them live or not. |

My problem was with the assumption it could NEVER happen. hah Whatever. I'm sorry to say but last Wednesday (re: Carl ing Cox) blew a LOT of System parties very far out of the water for me.
Hey, I've had great nights at System, but I have no doubts that Sander could rock TiL just as ing hard.
(also Deep Dish in TiL was unreal) |

Wednesday night was good, the crowd was really into the music, but it was an EXCEPTION, nothing like what it is on any other night.
You cannot compare the vibe at System soundbar to... mmm whatever happens @ TiL on fridays. We will never have another System in Toronto. Something just as good, prolly, but nothing comparable! TiL is neither.

Quite living in the past and move on with it. System is gone, you have NEVER been to TIL, but yet you feel like you must post that you won't ever go there. Come on Mark.
Yes the crowd and the vibe is different than at System. Things change. You go to a club with a bunch of your friends and make your own fun. Nothing will touch Sander at Stereo this year for me, but I will be at TIL when he is there and anywhere else in Toronto until I stop liking what he is playing.
I expect to see you there. |

I agree 100%. We can all keep complaining about it or we can accept the fact that its different and make our own fun. Maybe if all the old "system" people went to TIL we could help change the vibe. |

and just to point out, my original comment was not a shot at the venue itself.... but more so toward the clientele who were already present before charles moved the system talent to TiL. but , they are probably making the same complaints about the pill popping, water drinking kids who have decided to play in their stomping grounds as well. lol. |
