| Some of u guys just gotta realize, THE SCENE IS DEAD . It aint 2000-2001 anymore guys. Vinyl and Twilo are finished. ITS TIME TO MOVE ON. in NYC is corny and no matter how many events u go out to, especially the big room, aint gonna change. It used to be about the music and the overall cool vibe. Now, the music is not even close to being good and u see the worst crowds ever at these events. At this point, its all about going to a wack event, spending a load at the door to get in, only to see horrible ppl next to you left and right who totally dont respect what the underground EDM scene is all about, being PLUR. After this past Sat with DT and Cox at Pacha, I realized that after 4+ yrs of goin out, it just aint worthing coming out anymore, unless its to support close friends like at TFST or something. For the n00bies, it prob isnt dead cause they have never seen it the way the older folks on the board have, but its only a matter of time before even they see how corny it is too. |

Exactly, be glad you aren't bitter like those of us who did enjoy the golden era of clubbing in NYC. I still go out only to be disappointed more often than not with the wasteland of money, models, and bottles. |

Times change bro. NYC still has a hell of a lot more than many other cities have to offer. If you can't enjoy the music without worrying so much about the crowd then maybe you should find something else to listen to. All about being PLUR? Please. Now that is corny. |
