No wonder none of you ever have fun when you go out. Look at the mindset that you have.

I seriously wonder how much fun some of you would have had if you'd been the same age that you are now and had the same experiences under your belt when we had the "golden age of clubbing." Most of you were still children with no responsibilities, took lots of pills and were experiencing something new and exciting. Life's different now, it's no surprise that you have different outlooks.

It's hard to constantly live up to your past experiences, no matter what area of life you're talking about, because once you've been impressed, you have to have that met or upstaged to enjoy it again.

I felt like typing the same thing.. i just sense so much pessimism/bitching from everyone in here, blah blah, wahhh they wouldn't let me into the club... :tongue3

just have a good time. it's really that easy.

I have gone to the Made events PVD summerstage every year since they started. They get worse and worse every year. This year absolutely sucked! the weekend was saved by Victor Dinaire and Ryan Tyas in a small venue (Element), they played a sick set. If you think Made Events are commercial wait till they combine their efforts with the king of cheese, ATB, later this month.

The underground scene is about to be reborn though, MASSIVE NYC is bringing back the Twilo days, just be on the look out!!!

ATB was great at Webster Hall( venue i know) 2 yrs ago. Again, more close minded-ness. He didn't spin like what you hear on the radio.

I just called Crobar to ask when they will be closing this weekend. I was told for Fri and Sat they will close anywhere from 4-5am. As for Sunday, they said probably earlier. Whaaack.

well said. after going out for the last 6 years i know that at any given show a dj that I like can put down a great set, or have the opposite happen and walk away from a night feeling let down. just aint the same as it used to be but i go out and try to make the best of it, and every now and then i get to experience nights like armin in brooklyn and at spirit (june 05). just two from recent memory.
