this is assuming the NYPD does not come in and make Crobar close early...which can easily happen. But these set times are fine.

5 hours plus plenty of time for an afterparty.....sounds ok with me ;)

support the smaller parties at smaller events!!!!

if the sceene is "dead" then create a new one... focus on intimate venues and take a chance on a dj you haven't heard of or seen...

perfect analogy.. its like when you've had a hat you loved and wore everyday... then one day its just clear that it's time to put that hat into retirement... you can't go out and buy the same hat again.. its just not teh same...

i feel like people are always trying to recreate twilo and vinyl... why can't you start something new and then one day 5 years from now, we can all come on here and bitch on this tread about how things aren't like the way they were back when we used to go to LOVE...

we should start an all out boycott until they fix the hours

i agree with the view that its your individual view of the scene that has changed.. ive been going to clubs for 6 years (granted this is apparently after both golden ages of techno) but im usually surprised when i go at how little it has changed... theres a subgroup of s, subgroup of guidos, subgroup of raver club kid types, subgroup of people into the music, people jumping around, people rolling, people wearing $150 jeans.

also, im not sure who would go to a trance club because its "the cool thing to do" as some people on here have said because i have a newsflash, trance clubs arent preceived by the general population to be cool. besides out little niche community people generally mock techno music, at least the people i know. anyone i know who does go likes it cuz its a way to go nuts after a week of work...

There should be like 3 random questions each person has to answer at the door of and "underground party"

Name the dj spinning?

What genre of music does he perform?

Are you from Jersey?
