Me too. But if you read the DJmag page with the results - they state over there that DJ Dan is completely unknown in Europe. That is simply true.
Or better: He WAS completely unknown in Europe. With this DJmag result it has changed... |

Can anyone link me up to similar EDM polls in EU? I am pretty sure polls like these must be happening in Frnace, Netherlands etc which are more popular among EU people..this year's DJ Mag results are so terrible that I need to find more sources.. DJ Mag results looks more like US MySpace Contest Winners lists than a listening recomendation or people's choices and I cant trust it..
I seriously dont have time to listen to hundreds of DJs and 1000s of EDM songs to come down to which DJs I like and which I dont.. I take these poll results and give people listed on them a listen and than filter down my own list.. after all these ranks represents the majority number of people who like their work isnt it. |

| its weird how i've been in to EDM for about 5 years and i live in the U.S. and i have never heard of DJ Dan, where do you go see him? who does he play with? what kind of music does he spin? does anyone have one of his sets? |

dj dan has been spinning for quite sometime now. If you don't know him youre probably a noob.
It's funny how out of all the top 10 DJs, DJ Dan is the one who gets questioned the most.
He plays a lot with Donald Glaude, theyre mates. And he spins funky house, not cheese like DJ Jean. |

I heard DJ Dan for the first time last night at Meltdown in Dallas, and let me assure you he tore it up. Compared to John Digweed and other bigtime house DJ's I've seen recently, there is no comparison. Digweed's set was bland and boring as compared to DJ Dan's. I don't even like house music that much, but I will definitely pay to go see him in the future.
Oh and by the way, it never gets old listening to jealous people put down the greatest county on earth. You guys give me and every other American a good chuckle when you try to act like Slovenia or wherever you are from is so awesome, and put down the most powerful and successful country on earth and everyone from it. Keep thinking you are better, lol... |
