And you seem to have enjoyed it a little too much.. I think you're the sad one. I am a big believer in scientific method and don't follow any religion, but from my experience hardline atheists are even dumber than teh evangelical Christians (and that's a huge statement).

Thats the stuff i was talking about when making this thread, but from what i gather its a different smaller branch of mormons that believe that far out stuff that makes people think all Mormons belive that.

Coming from a soviet background I find it easy to see how people can be brainwashed from birth to unquestioningly follow an ideology or a "great leader". Under certain conditions it is only a minority that have the attributes to question the B.S. they're being fed.. and I'm not sure that it's all intelligence.
Whereas rampant atheism seems to involve some kind of almost autistic failure to understand the human condition.

I think that those who are unwilling to even admit the possibility of a God, yet hide behind science, fail to actually recognize that science is, in itself, of a very tentative nature and exists to further our understanding of what possibility actually is.
If someone had not looked at the stars and said "wow, I wonder what is out there", would we have science as it is? Would we have religion as it is?
