well ya i assumed those mormons that think that are radicals like warren jeffs. They make the news & give mormons a bad name since alot of people arent too familiar with the Mormon religion. Thats what i was kinda making sure that the warren jeffs types are the radical ones. Like Bin Laden is to Islam. |

| yeah you will hear them refer to themselves as mormons, they are called "the fundamentalist church of jesus christ of latterday saints" (flds) mormons are "the church of jesus christ of latterday saints" (lds) basically if you aren't lds, it's pretty damn hard to tell the diffrence when you turn on the tv and some weird ass colony and their childmolester leader is prancing around "yep, we're mormon" |

| I believe in some form of superior being or soemthing, but I think religion has been turned into a corporation, I still havent found a religion/sect/cult/movement that I can identify with my values |

Thats why when those mormon kids stopped by i gave them a listen. But once they mentioned the no alcohol or drug thing, i had to break it to them that it in no way for me. :p |

I've seen things on tv where there are these little "mormon towns" where some weird goes on (kids getting beat, sexually abused, etc.) basically because they can do whatever they want since no one wants to go into their secluded towns. It usually takes a while for some kid to speak up and the police to actually go in and investigate.
My whole gripe with the Mormons and other religions similar to them is that it's completely ok to have a religion and everything but don't obsess on it and make it your entire life about it...give yourself some freedom and time away from stuff like that so you can actually enjoy your damn life, because it's too short. |
