Rare to medium rare.
With most good quality ingredients, cooking = taking out the natural flavour (which defeats the purpose of getting the good stuff in the first place). Also if you order a well done steak in a good restaurant the chef will poop in it... True story. |

Lol. When I was working in a kitchen ages ago, a guy came in and wanted his steak well done. The chef flat out refused to do it. |

| I just had a pepper crusted filet mignon with marsala reduction, done medium rare, delivered to the office. Nothing sucks more than trying to eat that with a ing plastic fork and knife. |
