Ok im pissed off about this and ill tell you why.
If chris rock had been up there saying the same thing, people would have been laughing their asses off. Also, wheres the outrage when the black guy called him a cracker ass white boy?
i see double standards all over this clip.

amen to that...although the words were a bit uncalled for, the fact the other guy called him a cracker ass white boy and noone got mad about that? |

i think the 'cracker ass white boy' was just a response to the 'fifty years ago we would have had you hung upside down with a fork up your ass' and 'nigg3r nigg3r' repeatedly. so the guys were talking during his performance, this is reason to make racial slurs!?! when chris rock or dave chapelle make fun of whites (and blacks i might add), it's in good taste - and people of all races find humour in it. bad comparison jay.
this guy is supposed to be a professional, and that performance will definitely finish whatever he had left in his career. sure the black guy could have made richards look a lot more rediculous if he bit his tongue, but i think he had reason to be a little bit pissed. |

chris rock in good taste? Clearly we are not talking about the chris rock im thinking of.
Stand any white guy up there and have him tell the EXACT same jokes as rock and youd get the same reaction from this crowd.
And i dont care if the cracker comments were just the guy's reaction. Its just as right or wrong as the n*gger comments.
Until double standards like this arent tolerated, bad vibes are just going to continue when it comes to race issues. |
