i think he's exaggerating a bit when he said i don't enjoy TA anymore. the last week has been rougher than most just because i've had to deal with more annoying BS from a few members i had to warn/suspend, and since he's my boyfriend, Rob hears me bitch and complain about stuff like that... but the thing about TA is that it fluctuates from day to day, from week to week... and recently the really FUN days in COR seem to be far and few between, but they certainly aren't nonexistant.
i totally have my fun on here. i also totally enjoy being a mod. yeah, i might refuse to come on the forums at night and on the weekends because i know i'll have to put up with more shenanigans and bull, and honestly when i'm on TA all day at work sometimes i just need a ing break when i go home... but it doesn't mean that i hate TA or that i hate being a mod or anything.
people just need to stop assuming that TA is the center of a mods world. we aren't sitting around in front of our computers 24 hours a day refreshing the forums and reading every single post. we aren't getting paid to do this. we don't have magical powers. we try to be nice and fair to everyone, but for s sake... sometimes modding COR seriously feels like babysitting a bunch of severely mentally-challenged 4th graders.
i still love all of you... but i also totally understand Jason's frustrations. ;) |

| Wow, this thread sucks! WTF is going on here? Everybody's bitching about the core not being fun or entertaing or finding their lost car keys and ultimately it will make no difference at all. IF the core sucks then blame yourselves.... we all make up the core and we're all tasked with enforcing the standards we want met, not just the mods. You want this place to be entertainning then make it that way. You want people to stop acting like s then put them in their place. All this whinning, crying, bitching and moaning is just plain useless. |

The problem is that there are some right unfunny and annoying geeks on here. The sort of geeks that were kept in check when in school, bullied on a daily basis, etc. But with these sort of constraints removed - hooray for the internet :rolleyes: - they are free to roam about like the unfunny little s that they are, with little or no consequence.
There used to be some amazingly funny people on this board - Now regulars consist of people like Yan, Ivand, enferno, Marc Summers, etc. Great. |
