kinda of ironic to see you on other peoples words yet don't hold your own opinion. i think you've misinterpretted yourself there buddy

i don't need an absolute or a general theory (which you chose to refer to as an opinion) in order to criticise others'.
that's faulty reasoning, and you see it all over the place (newbies at the MD constantly make that same fallacy when they protect their beloved artists "can you make a better track? no? then stfu").
most of what you need to validly criticize (most of) anything is covered by perceptive and deductive abilities.

your tone towards me has changed since you're first statement, it's ok to say you've grown some respect for me, i'm not as dumb as you think i am

and as an online marketing manager, you have to categorize or generalize online communities when you base your marketing tactics on those communities. helps to know a persons background if you're gonna hate on their generalizations...we call it profiling =)

I didn't bother to read anything past the 3rd page, but the fact is, a 'period/dot thread' is pretty much a call sign to all the clicky groups to come in and post in this thread to show how cool they are as a group.

so you're confident that all the threads that are titled "." have absolutely nothing in them except for "clicky groups coming in and posting in that thread to show how cool they are as a group"?

even considering the fact that most active cor members have posted in "." threads at one point or another, in one context or another?
even considering the fact that most of those threads have as valid a topic as any other thread within the first few posts?
even considering the fact that for quite a while, and still now, the "." threads are directly associated with one member in particular?

Honestly, I've been pointing this out for a while and pretty much gave up on making it an issue. I just don't even bother clicking them let alone participate unless there is something relevant that I can contribute.

that's a nice methodology.

remember what i said about the circle? we need to step back inside the circle of peace and happiness and embrace our inner souls. from then we can create an energetic positive bond that will give us a peaceful atmosphere...

should we move this to the pdd then? i don't know where this ends?

either way I agree with Jason that this place has gone to

edit-and i think i've said my piece to psyt, whether he wants to continue beating OUR topic, he can do so on his own.

that happens by default when a comment becomes an argument, at least with when there's not hostility.

and i'm afraid i haven't grown respect for you, i didn't assume you're dumb to begin with.

some generalizations are more accurate than others. i don't go argumentative on just any generalization i see.

I dont think shes refering directly towards you. She used ANF as an example, then said thats what happens for being a head, so you shouldnt come around thinking this place is a free-for-all, childish playground.

just when i give you a specific example from this thread you quit? :p

as for crossing this to the pdd, while the general maturity level there is higher, i doubt they'd give much of a about this topic. :p

edit: just occured to me how ironic it would be to move this discussion to a different subforum. a discussion about the cor lacking discussion. :toothless
