You are from Canada, Swamper is from Canada...a big plus for you...the local producers forums are there to help...
then you have the entire TOTA, COR behind you...there's Vivid, and there's ANF, Mr. Mystery is there as usual...

The vast majority of the people who say "the CoR is fine, chill doodz!" are people who were not even members the last time I poked my head in to see how things had changed here.
Which was almost 2 years ago.
And even then, things had "deteriorated" from what it was when I first started posting here. When I first started posting, there would be 100-200 new threads in this forum when I would get home from work. And 80% of them would be threads with an actual topic people were discussing. Yes there were stupid threads, but in those days there was a lot more in the way of discussions. People for the most part (though I am probably more guilty with the "forum chatroom" style of posting than anyone, but I kept that in one thread that just stayed bumped for a couple months before it got locked) kept banter in irc, or AIM, or MSN or whatever. The "conversations" that happened here had a much more wide ranging set of people posting from all over. Now it is a much much smaller group of regular posters than it was then. Most of it is probably due to people, like I did, moving on.
I have ocassionally made random posts to see if people who remember who I am are still around, and every time I come back there are fewer and fewer of them. And as that group gets smaller, the number who I actually enjoyed reading the posts of becomes even less.
It is the way of life, things change. TA is an old community. I am sure Swamper did not envision it would be this size and last this long when he started.
And on the moderator thing. It is a painful, thankless job. I was a moderator on a much smaller site for a few months before I started posting on TA. It sucked the life out of me. Instead of enjoying posting/reading, I had to think harder about what I said and had to read threads/interact with people I really could not stand. So if you want moderators who keep things "in line" you need to do your part by moderating your own posts. If you don't want any moderation, then you can do as you will. But one person (or even a small group) cannot do everything by themselves.

:haha:
This is one of the best threads I've ever read since I've been a member here. Most TAs know me as the NEWYORKTRANCER .I used to post and get into convos with Rebel9, Dj Mikey Mike and so many other quality posters in the the MD and cd reviews room. Then I decided to sign up as Dj Skez this year just to with the TAs who I think are posters like Ivand, Enferno, Marc Summers and a bunch of you COR only posters.
There are a few people that I find interesting in the Cor and that is of course Dj Bas, RJT, Ygrene, Orbax , Lucid, Masonious and tubularbill is a genuinely nice guy and of I'm sure I forgot to mention a few others. Why did I create this account, it was to see how you geeks would react, and you know who you are. I'm surprised I haven't been banned yet to be honest and I'm sure I will very soon. I hate everything about the Cor, the damn redundant threads and the stupid people who ing post in it.
SO I STOOPED TO YOUR LEVEL OF IDIOCITY JUST TO PISS YOU MOTHER******S OFF AND HAD A GREAT TIME DOING IT
I agree with Floorfiller and Dj Mikey Mike's views on the COR. I can't believe how much time some of the repeat posters spend on this site, jesus christ, do you even have a social life and whats with all the dumb threads.
WHY DO YOU THINK I SENT A PM TO SWAMPER AND WICKED NEO WITH GRAPHIC IMAGES AND DARING THEM TO BAN ME, IT WAS TO SHOW THEM THAT I DON'T THINK THE COR IS WORTH IT ANYMORE AND SHOULD BE DELETED OUT OF THE SITE, IT REALLY IS A WASTE OF SPACE
On some serious , do you people even read what you post, have you lost touch of the outside world. What happened to normal converinsations. What's with all the bull you people type.
like h4x,deerhaz, lollerskates, lollercopter...:conf:
How is that even amusing, you might get a laugh by a few fellow internet geeks, but seriously, it's annoying and repeated so much in the COR. The majority of you are in your 20's and some of you are in your 30s like Dark Angel who seriously need to grow up and move on, you could be contributing so much in the real world instead of trying to figure out what bull thread will you come up with on the COR to ammuse a few idiots
I'm going to stop here because this is going nowhere, the majority of you are a bunch of pathetic geeks who spend way too much time in front of your computer.
Oh and Psy-T , don't even try to debate with Floorfiller and act like the COR isn't bull. You keep on posting threads about your fetish with dildos and shemales, it's so ing hillarious.
Marc Summers, please stfu, you're like a dumb little kid who made one of the worst threads I've ever read in my 3 years on TA , instead of waiting on your father to die, why don't you get off your ing computer you damn geek and have a sit down with him, help him thrugh his problems instead of whinning about it on a internet forum you pathetic .
I come off as a prick on the Chill out room , but believe me , I only act like that to certain TA members who I think deserve it.
You can pretend to be friends on some internet forum but in reality , there are many things you TAs dislike about each other. Look at Slylee and Jennypie for example or Igottaknow and other TA members, most of you come off as fake s to me, and that's coming from a guy with a bull made up alt account who's sole purpose since I registered with this name was to show you how pathetic you are by taking me so seriously. |
