How long have you been single? (pg. 2)

I've been single for a little over a year. Me and my ex just couldn't trust eachother and it sucked. We dated for nearly three years. I'll admit, I want a gf now but don't want to go looking (I don't believe in looking for love). Who knows, we'll see what happens in the future.

i say there's no reason for a serious relationship until the age of 30... i want to have fun for my younger years and not waste it on one broad... so it, i do what i want when i want to do it

single for about a year and half to two-ish ... i guess relationships are only for some people and at the time in my life that I'm at right now, i don't see myself in a relationship. i'm having a great time being single without having to call or check in or wait for that other person to check in with me, i don't miss that dealing with a significant other, the fallen for feeling, i just don't have enough time in my week to set my priorities aside. Not that I condone relationships, just for me, it won't fit.

When you say single.... is that single as in no relationship
or no sex..

cuz I've been single since May...but I helped a really hot friend get over his ex girlfriend last month.:stongue:

the time spent up until you finally find the person who "gets it" as far as you are concerned sucks...it's worth it in the end though. i had made a post or two a few years ago about all the trouble i was having. seems so long ago....

so i cant add a time length to this thread cause i finally found the one who gets it....

i wish all of you the best of luck in finding that person too...

and besides, time really doesn't matter in-between relationships because your quest IS to discover yourself and the type of person that suits you. its better to be single than in a sub-par relationship, thats for sure. it should be the *journey* that matters, but absolute final result will be more the greater/more rewarding once u do find that 'perfect' someone

Relationships are a drain on your resources.
=)

I was in a super long relationship with a good woman and had the time of my life. It ended and life goes on, i found myself taking better care of myself while being single and that will benefit my next relationship (or hopefully a marriage).
