| I have been single since October of 2004. For the last two years I have been focusing on my education and career, so I have little free time to dedicate to myself. Therefore, I really could not even give a signifant other the proper attention. I also would rather have temporary fun than be held down, which is why I like being single. More or less I can do what I want and do not have to plan things around someone else. |

Been single since july of 2003!! I know long time. But people who know me well understand why I have been single so long. Really bad divorce. Caught her cheating with a former friend in "our" bed. No need to elaborate on that.
Anyway, use to enjoy the single life much more than I do now. Right now life lacks certain things that only relationships bring to the table. Especially around the holiday season. |

it seems that most single people are caught up in developing their lives and I can honestly say that to me it's probably the most important thing at this point. A relationship would indeed hinder me from doing the things I want to do and yes I agree with Joey, there are some things a relationship brings during the holiday seasons, but those can be had by close friends as well.
This is a time to cherish one another as well as cherish yourself. You can't be in a relationship if you you're self are not happy, thats usually when a relationship starts popping up, just when you're becoming happy with yourself, your living situation, your career, your family, then wham a chick is all over you like flies on and your whole world gets flipped upside down... |
