i brought this up earlier, but no response .. i'm positive i heard a particular track played several times throughout S&D's set. they played variations of it throughout. i heard the track within the last 30 minutes of their set too...
(not 100%, but i think the track was jeurgen's "love it.") does anyone remember what i'm talking about?

wow, lucky bastards, sounds like everyone had a good time. I hate not being 21, I tried so hard to get a fake id too.

Get this, after not being able to get a fake id, i settled on TAO, Then the night before I totaled my car and got a DUI  . I snuck into the impound lot the next morning cause my ticket was in my car, but got the cops called on me for tresspassing. I guess your not llowed to go into your OWN car to get you OWN things. Haha, gotta laugh at myself though, cause if it werent for those damn beers i would have had a good newyears.
First off, you're a ing idiot. Second, they weren't even checking IDs at the VIP entrance to Giant. Nice one.

Chad, I would say that the Scorchio sounding track IS in fact a remix of Scorchio. No getting around that one :p The one before that is John Digweed - Warung Beach (Luetzenkirchen Remix)

i believe that it was jlove that said he was hearing samples of saints & sinners all night long...

i don't think it was love it, but i could be wrong...

clovis and i had this very same discussion after the april fundacion with sasha/burridge.

people are so quick to jump on sasha and hate on him b/c of ableton and what not, but the guy is constantly dumping samples here and there throughout most of his performances, but if you don't know the songs that well, it's difficult to be able to distinguish that it's not part of the song he's actually playing.

only when you know songs very well and can hear him dropping samples left and right...

could he use ableton more effectively? sure, i think we could all agree on that, that's not the point, the point is the program allows him to be more creative w/ his dj sets than if he was mixing w/ vinyl or cd.

--thanks bas. list updated once again :p

i remember hearing samples of saints and sinners a couple of times, but i don't recall the entire track being played. whatever track i'm talking about was sampled more than four times.. man, at one point sasha mixed a sweet bassline with that sampled track and crowd went crazy... i'm surprised no one remembers. hopefully i find a clip of that moment on youtube...oh yeah that track "know you love me too" was also dropped
Miss Julia
