I might have this topped, just maybe.
My clubbing cherry was popped by Sasha & Digweed @ Delta fkng Heavy. Talk about setting a nigh-unreachable bar....

ooooh that is bad lol
man i used to groove out to DJ Dan, Doc Martin, Keoki, and Ron D Core so when these guys started coming over from Europe (Tiesto, Oakie, Sasha, Digweed, Gielen, Fontaine, etc) it was quite amazing. The internet hitting big changed EVERYTHING- you could get essential mixes and party nights off of napster so there was actually something else besides tapes you swapped etc to listen to! OMG I sound like a friggin history teacher. "The History of the Evolution of Trance in America" MUS131 "In the beginning there was Acid, Goa, Techno, Hardcore and Jungle." Anyone here old enough to remember Tuesday's at Metropolis in Irvine? lol :tongue2

(I had a review sort-of made, but I lost it, and work is still killing me)
I had a fabulous time. Pleasure meeting a lot of you.
Better set than Delta Heavy: I dunno... It was certainly up there.
Can I have two #1 favorite dates?
Besides the toilets (Giant never can get these right), it was really cold starting at around 5:30a... they really needed heaters for the rest of us that stayed until the end.
But, 6:30a was worth it.

Damn that was ridiculous.
I remember seeing Sasha look over at John with a huge grin during that buildup...
