Haha. Yeah Sasha and Diggers owned. I was in the center near Ryan Sage, and my ears are f*cked. And ! Sasha dropped a Thom yorke song? I'm mad. Left at 4:15 because my friend had to go to work New Years Day. Yeah, I know, thats when it got crazy wicked good. But I caught that really wicked dark track Sasha played at around 4:09'ish. You know what im talking about. I had to take a piss at around 1'ish and waited in line for 45 minutes, at that time I get a phone call from my friend saying I missed the Gazebo track. I kept missing segments of their set because of stupid crap like the bathroom, me running out of cash and hitting the ATM because alcohol was insanely expensive. blah blah. If anyone has this recorded, especially the last 2 hours of it, I will love you forever. My contact info is AIM: killdaveydead, and email: [email protected] lol. The lights in the back were really sweet looking too.

Clovis!!! Find me the liveset!!! :P <3 I think the tents were too close together, all I heard was interference.

Yeah, I don't share the same opinion with most people here. Sasha was using his Ableton delayer effect about 50 times too many (all right already, find a new effect), and his beatmatching was worse than paul oakenfold. And instead of Sasha and John Digweed as a team, it felt more like Sasha going off into his own direction...Diggers getting lost in it. They didn't seem to work together.

But I still spotted a lot of tracks, rolled balls and had fun. JVM ripped it up.

:wtf:

I heard 3-4 slight slips over the course of the night, while they were going between ableton and CD, but they caught each very quickly and most people I asked didnt notice...

Ya, I didn't think they were that great together either. I expected them to be alot better (together), not that they weren't good. I like Sasha better when he plays alone. And I like Digweed better when he plays alone. I also didn't like the fact that I recognized most of the songs. Next time, maybe I shouldn't download every recent live set possible and listen to them over and over again before I go see the dj. lol

I'm kinda bitter I didn't even check out a minute of Sander either. :sadgreen:

My opinion about this night doesn't count though. I'm sure if I was feeling better, I would have enjoyed it better. Also, my texts weren't working for 2 hours after midnight, so I lost all my friends. Thanks to Rich and other TA's for keeping me company. :)

*edit* oh ya, and Sasha didn't play any of the "weak in the knees" songs I was hoping he would play!!! :(
UWM
deetron - the afterlife
depeche mode - a pain that im used to (jacques lu cont)
