I think it's more to track selection rather than to mixing or remixing...

hope to see the most recent production by Derek Howell in this compilation!

Is this also being released on global underground?

man I hope its nothing like that live Avalon CD!

If I read this thread, then expectations are already that high that most will probably be disappointed no matter how good it will be. Let`s simply hope for a good album. :)

i never take too much worth in the hype. all i know is i loved involver; the concept behind it, the music, the style.. i'm assuming this will NOT be a fundacion-style cd, which for me was disappointing.

Exactly.

I love Sasha as much as the rest of you all, but FFS, why get your hopes up so high, so early?

IMO, I really don't think there should be an "Involver 2."
Beethoven
long ago, Sasha was in the front page of mix mag magazine, where the subtitle of the magazine wrote "Sasha, Son of God?"

I've been let down by his last Avalon CD, so I'm not waiting for much...but I can say that, with the amount of work that will be going into this, it will probably be of some worth...

Agreed - I just think that labeling something "Involver 2" is going to create some seriously unrealistic expectations.

"Involver" is undoubtedly one of the best mix CD's I've ever heard. To me, saying your in the process of creating "Involver 2" is akin to Babe Ruth pointing to the bleachers when up to bat.

You know he's good, but if he fails to knock it out of the park, you're probably going to be let down even if he hits a triple that scores two runs.
Clovis
Yeah, but he wants to keep the Ivolver concept of DJ meets producer going on this one aswell I think. Which is cool because Sasha hasnt had any really good productions out since, well, the Involver remix packages.

I'll be calling my next mix Drop Deeper and lose the 2 though... :p
