All of those parties have been a ton of fun, so I'm optimistic about the new album.

If he's planning on putting out tracks from those parties, expect to hear Thom Yorke - The Eraser (Sasha remix) and this mix of Justin Timberlake - Sexy Back that he's played at all 3 of the mentioned gigs, usually late in the night, sometimes as encores.

I seriously doubt either of those will make it to Involver.

And its his edit of the Stretch & Vern Mix of Thom Yorke. He closed with that in LA a few weeks ago, and then played sexy back accepella into Chemical Brothers - Do It Again as encore.

The reason why I am comparing Schnauss' sound to TCFHP album is because, as I already said, the concept of this particular BoC album is similar to that of all of Schnauss' music. The moods are similar and both derive similar mental images of green and sunny landscapes, and summer and spring time. Both of Schnauss' albums sound too straight forward, it's just boring. Plus the melodies sound quite uninteresting as well. It feels like he is too afraid to take chances and do a some sound experimentation. And whilst BoC's TCFHP is definitely not my favourite from them, it still sounds more innovative than anything by Schnauss. I don't see how thinking all this makes me an idiot. Just go attack some Armin fans and get your fix from that.

I didn't like Schnauss' last album "Goodbye". Whilst it had the amazing "schnaussian" shoegazing dreamscapes and the typical crystal-clear synth-lines, music-wise was far too mediocre. His previous two albums were amazing though. I guess you can somehow compare Schnauss with BoC, since they can be broadly categorised as electronica/IDM/Ambient,although Schnauss is not as experimental and abstract as BoC. He is more like streight-forward emotional melodic electronic music. Listen to BoC's first two albums and they are full of weird soundscapes, 70s retro-futuristic synths (that seem like they were taken from an old BBC wildlife documentary)strange voices, things happening in the background...its like very abstract music with subliminal messages and stuff.Ulrich is more like streighforward a-la slowdive emotional shoegaze only performed with synths instead of quitars...and he is pretty good in doing that. TCHP is more melodic and down to earth in comparison to previosu BoC efforts, so i guess you can somehow compare them to ulrich's albums. I personally find it to be an amazing album and definitely better in comparison to "Goodbye". Still, each of these artists have their own sounds which IMO are not directly comparable. They are both nice in what they aim for though.

Oh yea as for involver 2 i don't know...i found the first one to be extermely boring. It was like Sasha took a bunch of nice tracks and somehow made them sound bad... So i guess this will also be good for nap-taking.

To each his own, Involver is THE BEST mix-cd in my book.

This should be great. The first was absolutely one of a kind.
