There is only a small amount of pple out there who truly love and understand this music. Most pple probably did start going out sober just for the love of the music/scene but most of those pple have or still are using drugs. As much pple try to convice themselves that they are not addicted, they are in denial. The numbers on here are large and yes pretty disgusting.
I have seriously done way more than I should have over the last year...I do regret it and I don't. I had my fun, learned my mistakes and found out what my limits are. Luckily, I love this music waaaaaaayyyy more than the drugs and I have decided to cut it down.
As fun as ecstacy is...it's also pretty bad when you look at the long term effect...Thru my time of taking e I have noticed that my memory is definitely not like it used to be. One very good thing that did come out of doing drugs is that I became so much more open-minded and saw things that I really did not want to see but glad I did.
All I have to say is that music is my life...House, hard trance etc etc will never leave my blood. A good track like Oxia-Domino is the greatest high ;) |

I'll be honest, i HATED all electronic music till my first pill.
Gradually it (passion for EDM) took off from there |

Back in my days, i can probably say i did that much. I would pop pretty much every night, at an average of 5 a night and on my days off usually 8-10... and on ed up nights i would go as much as 15, the most i have taken being 20 in 14 hours mix with Ketamine and GHB (please remember that was lik 3-4 years ago).
Then i decided it was too crazy (no kidding) and stopped cold. I never been actually more than a day sober for almost a year.... so when i came back to normal... i would be crying for no reasons at any times of the day for a good 3-4 months... felt like , got sick, was uber depress. I tried to do E a few times after that... it barely does anything to me anymore.... gives me a headache and i actually just feel tired and hate it. I also now have digestive problems, a bit of a memory problem, and bladder / kidney problems.
So ya... E is fun if taken in moderation, i know i ed up. |

thank you for sharing that...a lot of pple need to hear this from someone who truly has gone thru what you have in order to believe it... |

would u believe that after a full year of being sober, i though that if i only took one i would have been ed... well a year later i took one after an another and at the 6th one i said: this... i mean i was a little bit high but nothing like it used to be.
also my ex about a year ago wanted to get ed up... so we bought MDMAs.... so we started popping and i couldnt get high.... after 7 i just fell asleep while she was on the floor hugging the carpet. |

i havent read the full thread but im sure i aint the only one with a story like this one
oh and by the way, i cant dance when i am high. i can only dance sober now and i actually rather go to event sober or on the effect of alcool. i actually dont do drugs anymore... well that isnt true... maybe 2-3 times a year |
