You can go to distrik or metro and then go to sonic, and you will totaly feel the impact of drugs on the different party envoirnments. |

you would be surprised. I had a heavy "heated" discussion with someone about pill popping.
He was telling me how E is better for you than alcohol and how many more people have died from Alcohol. I said to him, but I control my alcohol intake. I tell him how it's an unecessary risk, he said it was the same as me crossing the road. :rolleyes: yeaaah. I can't prevent a car hitting me, but I can prevent taking a pill.
Anyway, in other words, yes I've had enough idiots telling me how I SHOULD TAKE DRUGS otherwise i'm going to grow old and MISS OUT on the experience. blah blah blah.

oh another story, recently at destiny, some dude asked me, "so what are you on?". I said, "nothing, I've just been drinking".

someone should srsly explain to him the huge gap between the number of alcohol and E users and how you act when your drunk (fight, drive a car) is what constitutes the danger. He should find out in 30 years anyhow.

That a messed up situation to be put under because both answers can have negative results. If you refuse and you might gradually drift away from their lives since you dont have common habits and if you say yes then you become a slave to societal acceptance. |

Just because he does not think along the same lines as you does not mean he doesn't make sense. By making this comment you just made yourself seem rude. That wasn't really called for.
Edit: I see where you are coming but don't take it personally as HighRoller said earlier. Life is too short to worry about other people unless it directly affects you,and if it does somehow then do tell. |

lol, how do you figure? you're pretty much saying everyone drinks in top 40 places, this is why top40 sucks. "Yea kids, don't go to top 40 club because they drink, go to afterhours and get ed up, people will show you respect" makes absolutely no sense.

Just because they do drugs? drugs have all to do with the vibe, in my opinion the vibe is created by the people attending the event, the location and the music that the dj is playing. Like i said if an event was taking place at sonic and drugs were not present the vibe would be absolutely the same. Yes the club would be 50% less full and patrons would not stay as long but it would be the exact same thing.

Completely disagree.
I have done it all, Top 40 (back in the day) shudders... and been partyin for almost six years now. I have seen fights in both, arguements over stupid in both, people barging around and running into people and not caring. It depends on the person not the party, you can have a bad night at an afterhours with the percentage of bad people who have little regard for others. For instance, the sketchy asians at Guvy or the zone(I hate to generalize but they have doen it to themselves), have you ever met such rude people in your life, walking and pushing through crowds, not apoligizing, not caring. Sometimes I get more pissed off at people in a "party" atmosphere that a top 40 bar. Just because there are some people who are extra happy at these afterhours places are you situate yourself around them you think its the best place on earth, but walk around more, there is alot of ugliness around too you just choose to not put yourself into it or you put your blinders on.
btw, can't believe this thread is still goin, love it. Some great discusion going on here. |
