These threads are all worthless m8. They were all started by people whose initial intent was basically to slag off on other systems.
When you begin like that, it's hard (near impossible) to have any kind of objective discussion.
I'm just tired of the same old crew (Intermilan, Conner, DA, etc.) thining they're somehow above the "hating" or whatever it is they want to call it today - They're the main culprits right alongside TheDemon. The only difference is that at least when TheDemon posts, he sources his information. |

If that's how you feel RJT then you're right for feeling that way. No one here should tell you that, but because of that, it doesn't mean you should get on their case about it or say one contributor is better than the other. So what if thats all they contribute, that shouldn't necessarily shape your opinion or response or positive contribution to respected thread.

If im not mistaken, the reason Ghost Recon 2 was changed to 3rd person was BECAUSE of the asskickery of SOCOM. Then they changed it back because Ghost Recon 2 sucked complete ass. Plus, we really shouldnt be comparing GRAW to the PS2 SOCOM's...we gotta wait until SOCOM arrives on the PS3. Even then, I STILL think SOCOM pwns Ghost Recon.

Well, lemme just say that I started the debate in the first place in DEFENSE to what another poster says. Also, if we limit specific threads ONLY to just supplying information, I honestly think these threads will just get boring and will die quickly. Debate and gaming forum go together like cookies and milk. Thats just what I think :)

No, its speculation. You have no idea what titles will remain exclusive to the PS3 vs. those that will become multiplatform. Its okay to use your logic to PREDICT this might happen, but saying its not speculation and calling it FACT...well your just making yourself sound like a dumbass.
The PS3 is having a rough start, I think, because peeps werent ready for the next-gen just quite yet. You know whats crazy? The Playstation 2 is STILL out and its STILL selling like ing mad. Microsoft pulled all support from their original Xbox, forcing people to buy into their 360 if they wanted to continue being MS gamers. Since Sony is giving people the choice between a cheap console that has an established library vs. an expensive console that was just released, which one do you think the dumbass consumer is going to choose?

I honestly dont understand where the you get this . Me above the hating?WHAT!? Seriously man, I dont come here to agree with the whole god damn world. What the would be the point of a forum in the first place. I come here to speak my mind. If what someone else says something I disagree with, Ill post about it. The only hating going on here is by you, since for some reason you decided that instead of actually contributing to the thread, you would instead insult everyone who has contributed by saying that we are all "wrong", we dont know anything about video games, and that whatever predictions YOU make are correct and absolute. |

To be honest, I didnt really think the gaming forum had any charm UNTIL the drama arrived. Before then, a new thread was created like...what once every 3 weeks? This is probably the most activity Ive ever seen in the gaming forum in my entire history of being a TA.
When there are arguments and debates going on left and right, I think it makes the forum a more interesting place to browse. If all you are looking for is objective information on the latest video games, go to IGN. :) |

Now hold on there bud, I don't want to get to a whole flame war here but I never ever, in any of my posts, stated that I hate sony or the ps3. Now that was the general feeling because of my posts, but honestly I have always praised sony for their quality products. I only discussed my hate about the Ps3 launch. Plus, I have no followers on this site. I am on my own. My views were only from me and no body here has ever encouraged or influenced me on saying what I did. I challenge anyone to come out and prove that I hate sony as a company. Because I never said that nor did i ever say I hate the ps3. But yes, you're right. At least my posts had legitimate sources.

How can you state that ghost recon sucks if you never played it? Have you even played the latest versions on the 360. They are excellent games. Socom is a great game too. an excellent franchise that seemed to come out of nowhere. They're both targeted at two completely different audiences. |
