If he said it at XX:15, 45 minutes would be "within the hour." |
h4xing a nuke in 45 minutes? Against your will? erm...plus, you have to allow time for the torturing. |

Well yes, there's that - but... I mean... god dammit, you just don't doubt Jack Bauer!

The fact that they will get the engineer precisely within the hour and the nukes will be operational the minute they get him

I don't really see how that's implied at all - the dialogue makes perfect sense to me.
It really just seems like you're nitpicking.

Jack precisely used the word "operational" and don't tell me he meant something else. Maybe its nitpicking, but i like 24 dialogues, to make sense, and not be some mindless filler. |

I never tried to tell you it was anything else.
And I still think you are indeed nitpicking. It makes sense, and even if it does sound a bit odd, who in s name (other than you) cares?
You're watching 24, not the news. |

I see you're one of the '24 is awesome no matter the writing' bandwagon, fine by me. |

Oh FFS.
Pardon me for realizing I'm watching a television program (on Fox no-less), and not expecting Dickensian dialogue every week.
It's been the same since the first season - but do go on enjoying talking while still watching the show week in and week out (when you could just as easily not watch if it's so piss poor in your eyes).
Whatever gets you off m8. |
