I love how the Russian Consul is nonchalant when Logan came in there. He has to be aware that Logan's been under house arrest for a year. You'd think he'd be acting a tad bit different considering he's meeting with someone who committed such crimes and is suddenly released just to meet with him.

exactly what I was wondering. I thought he may not have had a cell phone on him, but then he got into the hall and took it out of his pocket. Like he was really going to remember all that information that Jack gave him without having to ask again.

He had no reason to leave the room. This season is getting worse by the episode (well, in the believability factor, though it never really was too believable to begin with).

They need to stop with the "zomogmomgomg plot twist!!11" already, cause it's only bringing the show down. It's gotten to the point where it IS predictable, and sometimes very unbelievable. They should just focus on telling a good, believable story. Screw the plot twists, we all see them coming from a mile away. Trying to force them just makes things worse.

The plot devices are getting very tired. Oh no deja vous, Jack is back at the foreign consulate again  It's pretty obvious that the Vice President was behind the assassination attempt to gain power. You know Karen and Tom (arch rivals) will join forces against the VP. Btw, these aren't spoilers merely my educated deductions. Besides we know everything in 24 always has to go straight to the top anything less would be anti climatic.

I agree a story well told is more important than plot twists and the desire to out do each crisis with an ever more sensational crisis. How are they going to top nukes next season? What are the terrorist going to steer an asteroid into our planet so they can take out the entire human race in one gigantic suicide bomb, may Allah be praised? I think they've taken this whole Middle Eastern terrorist thing too far. I have no doubt we'll look back on shows like this like we do at the red scare hysteria of the cold war years. The show has gone from hyper real to really hyper. I've lost a lot of my enthusiasm for the show this season. Sometimes too much of a good thing isn't a good thing.

I would love to have seen the show take the direction of a Ronin or The Bourne Identitity. It's possible to have an exciting action thriller without the threat middle eastern terrorist with nukes. I could also do without the heavy handed political moral messages the writers keep banging the audience on the head with.
