Nah, that's way too far-fetched for 24, and I'd probably stop watching if that was the case. I can handle them turning Palmer into a psycho but only to a certain extent, anything more outlandish and that's it for me. |

Isn't he signed on for another three or so seasons? He can't die, unless they start implementing ghosts next season, which, taking in how this season is going, wouldn't be entirely unrealisitic. |

I was under the impression this was either the last season he was contracted for, or the next one is.
Either way, I hope this is the last season. They're killing a legendary program.

This series is ing ridiculous, and they've completely spoilt their solid reputation for consistently good TV. It's such a shame considering how explosive the first few episodes were; but the direction they've taken it in could not be any more and tired if they tried.
