yeah, I think it's worth it - I didn't realize when I bought the ticket that it was subtitled, but other then that it's pretty deep! has many elements in it such as fantasy, illusion & history....
plus i loved that labrynth movie with david bowie when i was a kid - so I was compelled to see this adult version!:) |

i thought it was a crap film and somewhat funny even 
you know, funny in the way you laugh at bad, overacted movies. and the thing with the weird ass canibals that had really good marksmanship... was just strange. also, it's supposed to be due to inbreeding, how deformed they are... but did you see any female weird cannibal to inbreed with? can't remember that. |

Tears of the Sun:
Takes place in Nigeria, and a rebel army are attacking villages and basically killing everyone in them, ethnic cleansing. In one scene, one of these rebels is sitting on top of a screaming woman in one of the villages, and is cutting off her breasts. Apparently that was one of their rituals for when they found a woman with a baby. Was pretty harrowing as her baby was killed too.
Was tough to watch even though some yanks came in half way through and sliced the guys throat.
Also the soap in the towel scene in Full Metal Jacket is pretty rough too.
And in Casualties of War, the rape scene 4 american soldiers in vietnam kidnap and rape a woman. |
