hah - well my friend has this movie and made her boyfriend watch it this past weekend. she swears it is a beautiful movie and I guess it's an opinion of our own. I won't go out of my way to see it, but i might end up seeing it next time I go to her house:)
Another brutal scene is in requium for a dream when the main male characters arm is completely ruined with sours and it needs to be removed!:nervous: |

I found parts of City of God to be fairly disturbing...like when these 2 kids get in trouble and one of the older gang leaders shoots the 4 year old kid in the foot, and the other kid (probably 10) in the chest and kills him. Ick...I don't have a strong stomach when it comes to horror/violence, but in terms of little kids I can't bear to see any of it.
