The most shocking scene you've ever seen in a film

Yesterday, I watched American History X for the first time, and I was completely horrified by the "Kerb Stomp" Scene:

(Safe for work, by the way, reason why I'm posting it here, but it's not cute at all)

What shocked me was the racial context, how they clearly depicted the victim's despair and the fact that this is not unseen in real life. I had never thought of kerbs that way, and the possibility of disrespecting human life using them is simply revolting. So revolting I needed to share :/

What's the most shocking scene you've ever seen? In a film, that is.

The arm is gross in a physical sense. The ass-to-ass scene, on the other hand, is degrading because of the action itself.

Are you sure it's not Irreversible? That film's known for the fire extinguisher scene.
