| I like diamonds on my ears and neck, not necessarily on my finger. I have nice diamond studs that my Mother gave me for graduation and a diamond in crested Star of David that my Dad gave me and that's about it. When it comes to engagement/ wedding rings women like it because it shows that, " Oh looky looky what my man got me, he has all this money blablabla" A man likes it probably because it shows off the money he has ( or he's broke for the next few months paying it off rofl ) I'd rather have something subtle like white gold or silver. I don't like gold that much aside from one chain I got from my grandmother before she passed away. |

I think diamonds and jewelry are beautiful and I can see how a beautiful ring would make a girl feel like a princess, but I don’t think it should be a sign of how much a guy is into you. It’s just an old tradition and a silly “girl” thing that men will never understand. That’s all I can really say.
Diamonds are sexy and fun and we love them…just like you love all your stupid ing electronic toys from Brookstone or Sharper Image. Same if you ask me, so leave us alone! |

Security. They want to know that their man will be with them forever. I know more relationships that have lasted longer non married than an actual married couple. Marriage is a piece of paper and two bands. That's not to say that I don't want to get married because I do.

Yeah, I personally know two couples who spent over $30K on their wedding to have the "fairy tale" and for it to be "perfect" because "its the only time I'll ever be getting married" and neither marriage made it to their 3rd anniversary. |

you guys need to get w/ the program. yellow gold is making a huge comback.
i'm actually wearing 2 necklaces today that are yellow gold. one is very short around the neck and is a gold chain broken up by pieces of jade and then i have a much longer, thin gold chain with a buffed glass apple madallion that has a gold leaf and core on the top. it was my great grandma's...it's like a cool vintage looking piece.
oh and as far as weddings goes, i only like the idea of throwing a big one because i definitely have the "entertainer" gene in me. i get it from my dad. love hosting dinner parties and throwing and organizing parties. i would have the bomb ass wedding if i had enough people to invite and enough money to do it the way i want. who knows...maybe it'll happen that way for me when i'm ready:) |

you know, when i was deciding on his St Patty's day gift, i thought he might not like the idea of Clovis in a skirt... but i'm glad to hear they had a good time! |
