yeah it sparkles, oh joy lets put bleachers around the "beauty" for all to see.
someone explain this to me.
and dont in say it signifies love. chocolate also signifies love, meaning a chocolate ring should be just as accepted as a diamond ring.

Actually the ancient egyptians used to use chocolate instead of diamonds (they didn't have the mining technology to process diamonds at the time) for their rings.
The reason they used to chocolate was because its fragile, so it symbolized how precious love was... |

I think some people look at it as a symbol of value. The receiver will look at the ring as a symbol of how valuable they are to the giver. Or at how valuable the giver is because they have fat stacks. Or, to those perpetratin B's, how much more value this ring has than yours.
Yeah, I don't get it either but I conformed anyway. :( |

take for example that thread created referring to the cheating fiance in england with the dudes on the radio show pwning her?
she asked how big the ring was...and she cheated on her fiance a week or something earlier with her boss or something, i dont remember
it just seems like a joke anymore. =/ |

| My cousin always said diamonds are a waste of money. Even though hes loaded he bought his gf a beautiful engagement ring made of CZ. He told her she can leave if she doesnt like it. |

A buddy of mine, just a normal working dude who makes a decent salary, has been looking at rings for his GF. He has an idea how much he wants to spend, ~$10k. She picks out a ring that is $18k.
I told him to run. FAST. |

| yea I'm not into this diamond ring crap and how u must go into major debt just to marry some beeeeotch who won't appreciate it anyway. Its a status symbol to most chicks and how they landed a big one who will pay all their bills so they can let themselves go...and if he wants to leave they take his house and all of his money.:whip: Ok not all chicks but in South Florida there everywhere :D |
