How Rough Is Your Neighbourhood?!

Glasgow just got voted number one in the UK and I grew up in one of the tiest most deprevated areas in Glasgow. That makes me officially the hardest bastard in the whole of the UK. BING BING.

How hard is your neighbourhood and what's the craziest you've seen go down?

I seen a guy get shot in both his kneecaps and then two people crushed his head with a 4x4.

Go on go on go on.

Pretty mild usually but lately it's taken a turn for the chaotic. At day it's all fine as there are several schools etc around the area but when the sun sets the people go nuts...

A couple of weeks ago I was walking home from the bus stop after work (around 1AM) and there was a trashcan on fire and the firemen were just standing around it looking like they had no idea what they were doing. 5 minutes later after I got home I started to hear screaming and fighting noises. Turns out some petty thug was trying to mug this girl who was coming home from her friend's place. I was just about to introduce him to my hockey stick but he ran off and I didn't even get to see his face. He got all the money that poor girl had - 5 cents.

Also, lately some wankers have decided to spray paint every possible wall and street sign within the area. Other than that it's just your usual local drunks hanging around...

I live in North York, Yo! Don't mess, our yamikas can be used as deadly boomerangs.

No, I live in a nice neighbor hood next door to the #2 "ghetto" in Toronto. It's pretty safe. Just like any neighborhood it has it's bad spots as well as good.

my neighborhood not rough at all, it's actually pretty luxurious to tell ya the truth, but i grew up in areas of violence so it's nothing new to me.

craziest i've seen

1998 first weekend back from my first year away for college, i come back and me and my boys are out in the city, stop by Grays Papaya on 72nd street around 4:30am. Grays Papaya is this famous NYC hotdog stand in the city, there's a few locations but the original is on 72nd street. So I'm standing there eating my hot dog and outside of the place 2 dudes standing with fur coats, you know ghetto'd out like they tough. next thing i know a car pulls up and 4 guys jump out with pipes...i'm standing there backed up from the window incase they broke it and watch these 4 dude pipe the out of these two black guys with pipes. one dude is on the floor gushing blood from his ear and temple area the other one i think got all his teeth knocked out of him.

me and my boys standing there like wtf, hotdog dudes on the phone with the cops, and we just straight out dipped from the spot. ran around the corner and got in my boys car and drove home...

highschool i went to a catholic highschool and hung out with some phillipino kids from Hollis, Jamaica, Queens Village etc, so i come out of school and there's like all these older flip kids standing outside with bandana's around their face. i'm like oh s going down so lemme hang around to watch. i guess whoever they had beef was knew they was comin and walked out of school pretty deep. so the flip kids had all their cars lined up right by the side exit of the school, these kids roll out of school like MASSIVELY deep atleast like 60+ kids. next thing i know the flip kids all reach into their cars and pull out like some viking weapon type . spiked bats, one dude had a sawed off bad with a chaing and metal spiked ball. it was madness, cops came and pepper sprayed EVERYONE lol even bystanders were getting hit in the face point blank by cops lol

Highland Park. Pretty ghetto area in Pasadena. It's dangerous WHAT!! I mean there's Mexicans walking around all over the place, who knows what they're up to!! Probably thinking about having 20 kids and stuffing them all into an '89 Camry that's what. Shifty bastards :nervous:

They do make bomb tamales though.

i live in downtown nijmegen, netherlands... probably the most docile place on the planet :o

altho when i lived in atlanta, me and some friends lived in homepark (lots of students, but borderline ghetto). we lived across the street from a rap studio, and we were home on numerous occasions when we heard guns being fired outside. we always just kept our heads low and never asked questions :disbelief
